Privacy Policy
International Orders
For international orders (outside of the US and
Canada) payment
is only accepted by money order/cashier's
cheque
in US funds or wire transfer. To complete your purchase,
select the method by which you intend to pay.
Instruction for completion of your order (mailing
address or wire account information) will be e-mailed to
you shortly. Please note, when paying by money order or
cashier's cheque please allow two business days for
clearance and verification of the payment.
Warranties:
Unless otherwise stated, all products are fully
supported by a one-year manufacturer's limited warranty. All products are brand new and fully supported
by both DogStar Radios (the retailer) and the
manufacturer. DogStar Radios will provide complete
warranty support and offer a replacement of any
defective unit for the first 30 days after purchase.
After 30 days, warranty support is provided by the
item's manufacturer and their warranty policies apply.
For all items, warranty information is included with the
packaging and the means of contact the manufacturer is
provided. However, we are happy to provide referral
information as well as copies of any receipts or
documentation that may assist customers in obtaining the
proper support for their product. For more information,

DogStar Radios is not responsible for damage that
occurs during shipping. Shipping insurance is provided
for all orders free of charge and will be utilized if
there is damage to the item that occurs during shipping.
The carrier may request a delay to inspect the damaged
item or a signed statement of the damage from the
customer may be required. Outside of warranty issues,
if there is any discrepancy (such as an
incorrect, damaged or missing product) in the order, we can only
help to correct it if it is reported within seventy-two
hours of delivery. After this time, the potential for
fraud (such as customer damage being reported as damage
that occurred during shipping) increases greatly and we
are unable to provide replacements after that time. If
there are any discrepancies in the order, we are
committed to making sure the customer gets exactly what
was ordered, and a replacement item will be shipped
promptly at no charge. DogStar Radios will handle any
carrier insurance claims directly with the appropriate

Returns:
Holiday Extended Return Policies:
To ensure the recipient gets the gift they
really want, you don't have to worry about returns. For purchases made between
11/10/07 - 12/15/07, the product can be returned or exchanged on or before
01/15/07.
Sending a product back for a reason other then a
defect qualifies as a return. Returns are accepted
within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping fees are the buyer's responsibility. If opened, 15% will be
withheld from the returned amount for restocking the
item as "used" if the customer is requesting a
refund. The fee for restocking as "used" will be waived
if the customer accepts a store credit for the cost of
the item in question. If the product is unopened,
the full item cost will be refunded. S&H fees are non-refundable.
Prior to sending the item back for return, the buyer
must contact us to obtain an RMA number. Customers may
do so

Anti-Fraud Address Verification
Policy & Procedure:
While we understand this can be an
inconvenience, currently this is our best means of
protecting you from a third party using your stolen
credit card information. Please read carefully.
Your order may require more processing time (possible
several business days) and must go through our
Anti-Fraud Address Verification System if you are
shipping to an address other than you billing address or
if the billing address response from your credit card
comes back as a "No Match" for what the bank has on file
for you. To ensure your order is processed quickly,
please double-check your billing address.
Shipping to an address other than your billing?
Make sure your Credit Card Issuer has your alternate
"Ship To" address on file.
We strongly recommend you call your credit card’s
issuing bank first to make sure you could add a
secondary ship to address to your account or make
special notes on your account of an approved alternate
ship to address. To ensure order processing speed and
security, we reserve the right to ship to the billing
address of the cardholder even if a different shipping
address is provided.
You can now place the online order. Next, after placing
the order, email us immediately at customerservice@dogstarradios.com
informing us that you have added the proper information.
We then will contact your credit card issuer with the
number you provided to us, to verify your information
and continue processing the order. Make sure to include
your Order Number in the email.
Pricing Policy
At DogStarRadios.com, we strive to
make the shopping experience as easy as possible, while
maintaining high standards of customer service and
competitive pricing. We are authorized dealers for all
products and brands that we carry, and all products are
genuine USA retail products, with full USA manufactures
warranties. All products include all accessories
packaged by the manufacturer for that item, no items are
open box or repackaged. We will not contact you after
you place your order to try and sell you accessories,
warranties or additional products.
The web is full of all sorts of
electronics and home entertainment dealers with many
prices available. Some are huge dealers with actual
stores, and some are fly by night or small time
operations. Not all dealers sell the same specific
products or are authorized dealers for certain products.
Some web dealers may actually be selling you open box,
used, gray market items (overseas versions of the same
model), or items not acquired through legitimate or
authorized channels. Some dealers may advertise products
at unbelievable prices, and then not have the order in
stock when you order it or try and sell you the
manufacturer’s included accessories as optional
accessories.
We are constantly researching
pricing by other legitimate web dealers and strive to
make our pricing as aggressive as possible. We are also
researching and working directly with the manufacturer
to provide you with the latest pricing and price
changes. We also do not charge outrageous shipping
prices on our items like some other web dealers may do,
and you may actually get a higher total delivered price
from them even though their prices may be significantly
lower on the item itself.
Generally speaking we do not match
the prices of the various other online dealers, for
reasons stated above. If all dealers were truly
legitimate and provided similar levels of service and
credibility, that would be a different story, where
aggressive price matching can take place, but that
environment does not exist online at this time. If you
feel you have found the same product, for a better
delivered price and you feel the dealer is a legitimate
dealer selling a genuine USA retail product with USA
manufacturer’s warranty, with all included
manufacturer’s accessories, we will welcome and consider
your price inquiry. Please call us directly for any
price inquiries related to your purchase.
Our prices are very competitive and
frequent price changes will occur on our website. Some
items are more aggressive in price changes than others.
Currently, we do not have a price protection guarantee
and do not offer credit for price changes that have
occurred after you have received a purchased item from
